QUALITY

Manufacturing certifications you can stand behind.

FDA-registered, GMP certified to SQF food safety and NSF GMP 455-2 standards. The certifications customers and retailers look for when evaluating supplement brands.

Certifications matter because they reduce buyer risk.

When a retailer evaluates your supplement brand, certifications signal that your manufacturer has been audited by independent third parties against published quality standards. When a customer reads your label, certification logos reduce purchase risk.

All Praxera private label products are manufactured in our FDA-registered, GMP-certified U.S. facility. This is the baseline quality infrastructure every brand we partner with inherits.

FDA-registered facility

FoodScience is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a food facility. Required for legal manufacture of dietary supplements in the United States.

SQF Food Safety

GMP certified to Safe Quality Food (SQF) food safety standards. SQF is benchmarked against the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the gold standard for food safety.

NSF GMP 455-2

Certified to NSF's GMP standard 455-2 for dietary supplements. Independent third-party audit of Good Manufacturing Practices specifically for the supplement category.

Frequently asked questions

Is FDA-registered the same as FDA-approved?
No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before they go to market. FDA-registered means we are on the FDA's list of facilities that manufacture dietary supplements, which requires meeting facility and process standards. No supplement manufacturer can legally claim FDA approval.
What does GMP certified mean and why does it matter?
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification means an independent third-party auditor has confirmed we follow defined quality protocols for facility, equipment, personnel, raw materials, processes, packaging, and record-keeping. GMP is the baseline retailers and serious customers look for. NSF GMP 455-2 is the most rigorous supplement-specific GMP standard.
Are there other certifications I should look for as a brand owner?
Depends on your audience. NSF Certified for Sport matters for athletic brands. Informed Sport / Informed Choice matters for professional sports. Non-GMO Project Verified matters for clean-label audiences. USP Verified is a premium pharmaceutical-grade certification. We discuss which apply to your positioning during onboarding.
Can my products be certified organic?
Some SKUs and ingredients are USDA Organic certified. Full organic certification depends on the formulation. We tell you per-SKU whether organic certification is possible during your consultation.
Do you support kosher and halal certifications?
Some SKUs are kosher and/or halal certified. Both certifications require specific ingredient sourcing and facility protocols. We have certified manufacturing lines available for kosher and halal products. Specific SKU availability varies.
